Educational productions are always a challenge as they require strategic camera and microphone placement. When filming outcomes from a lesson or new teaching method, it is imperative to ensure the results of the filming are not contrived due to the cameras being present.
The need of discretion and patience has to be understood along with the eye to capture what is required at the right moment.
Over the past five years, The Production Company has produced many productions within schools and learning centres documenting lessons, behaviour and learning outcomes.
Designed for learning: Building Schools for the FuturePartnership for Schools
Capturing the contemporary aspects of design and energetic learning focuses within the building, this production highlighted the enormous contribution an effective school library can make to the educational, creative, emotional and reading development of children and young people.
“Building Schools for the Future is not just about bricks and mortar; it’s about helping transforming the teaching and learning that goes on inside new and refurbished schools. This DVD supports the vision of BSF in providing inspirational library design to support 21st century learning.”
