Ascendance
The Production Company worked with this innovative dance group over a 6 month period to produce an inspiring documentary. Over the period the group took schools into churches to celebrate local history through dance. During this time, the documentary followed the young peoples’ journeys as they learned about dance and importantly their local culture. Views changed from local churches simple being a place to worship, to also gaining an understanding of the huge role the church had in the region’s history and a place of beauty and community today. The production above is a sample of the 60 minute documentary.
