With the build up to 2012, the whole of the UK seems to be getting ready for the Olympics. Over the past few years we have been producing a number of short films to highlight the training facilities both Leeds and Shefield have for international athletes. We also had a big part to play in China deciding to use Leeds as their base for 2012 as we produced a number of productions that were translated into Chinese. There are many other sports based productions that we have enjoyed making, including the Anti-Racism in Sport' production for Space and the FA.
We have also produced many sports productions for schools that we host on leedspetv.co.uk, a TV internet site that schools can subscribe to as part of their service level agreement.

Gateway to Gold - Leeds Initiative
Visualising Leeds' bid to home and provide training facilities for foreign 2012 Olympic teams, this film (reworked shorter edit showcased here), distributed internationally, has been an important tool to promote the city and its' service provision prior to the games. Using archives from The Production Company libraries and having the pleasure of filming dedicated and brilliant sports personalities and sports participants from outside and inside the region, The Production Company aimed and succeeded in highlighting the technical specifications of the facilities in addition to capturing the warm welcome the people of Leeds offer visiting sports teams.
